One of my fabulous Senior models…Jessica She will be graduating in 2010, but I wanted to get some fun goodies to her before the school year is over. Jessica is very active in school and the community, and has a beautiful personality, and is gorgeous! She was the *perfect* choice! These images are just from our first mini-session. We have another in June!

This first picture is my absolute fav so far. This was one of those that I knew as soon as I took it that I would love it. I showed it to Jess immediately! She’s so modest…she just said “your camera must be really good”. Uuuummm…no (well my camera is good…but)….you’re just that gorgeous! I know she’s waiting very patiently to see these…so I’m going to quit blabbing and finish this up so she can see! Hope you love them Jess!!!!

Never a dull moment with this family! The kiddos keep me on my toes and laughing the whole time And I love every minute of it!

So…I asked them to meet me at this field of buttercups (although I kept calling them tulips ). Rayson got out of the car and said “I hate flowers”. I thought “uh-oh”. I always want children to be themselves and to be happy and have fun with the location, so of course, I want them to be happy with it. I think he had a lot more fun when we moved away from the flowers and to the playground However, my favorite picture of the session is definitely this first one. It cracks me up!!! Notice…he is surrounded by flowers

Look at those eyes!

I love when she makes this face! She curls up her nose and crinkles her eyes and this little dimple shows up just under her left eye. It’s too cute!

A true, genuine smile of a child…nothing like it!

Boys being boys…I love this. He climbed to the tip-top of the choo-choo train. Of course, I’m nervous thinking he’s going to fall at any minute, but I just couldn’t interupt his victory celebration!

When Courtney told me she was pregnant and wanted me to photograph this little guy, I was ecstatic. Of course I was over joyed for her because I knew she would be a wonderful momma, but I was also very happy for myself I don’t know what I was more excited about, being able to see a friend I hadn’t seen in years, being able to meet her little guy, or being able to photograph him.

Welcome to the world Greyson Golden (don’t you love that name)! This first one is my absolute favorite so far! Look at all that hair! He is such a little sweety and you can’t go wrong with a baby in a bowl

A tip to all you momma’s looking for something to help your little one nap…bean bags, they work wonders. Oh…and either a heater fan or a hair dryer. You’ll be amazed…

WHAT. A. FUN. FAMILY. So stylish…so colorful…so thoughtful…so loving…and just plain fun. We shot in one of my absolute favorite locations, down town Lexington. We started at Gratz Park. A perfect place to start! I was happy when I talked to Kim and she said they were going to be wearing bright colors. I was thrilled when they got out of the car…so well coordinated, in bright spring colors…even props to pull everything together. And did I mention gorgeous? And funny? Andrew had me cracking up the entire time. I have tons of favorites from the session already, but here are just a few of my favorites of my favorites

So dramatic….(or maybe he was just telling me to stop taking pictures…lol). Oh…I almost forgot…this is right before or after I came an inch of running into a street sign. I was walking along snapping away when I just happen to pull the camera away from my face in time to see the street sign right in front of me!!!!

See…it was worth almost walking into a sign!

I have to share this with the last image. I send all my clients an online form with some questions that give me a better idea of who they are. One of the questions I ask is “what do you want your children to remember about their childhood?” I always love reading the answers to these questions. I especially loved Kim’s answer. She said that she wanted Andrew to remember that they talked about everything. I thought it was so sweet and I could immediately tell they had a beautiful relationship. For some reason I feel like this picture shows that relationship Such a wonderful Mom. Kim, Andrew, and Jon…thank you so much for sharing your little family with me!!!

As soon as I talked to Bret on my way home, I said “that was one of the best sessions ever”. Seriously…it was fabulous. The outfits, the locations, but mostly…beautiful…happy little Sammy. This is one of the happiest babies ever. She was constantly smiling and laughing…of course it may have something to do with the two cupcakes we gave her Anything for cute pictures. Hey…the session was to celebrate her first birthday! We started out at one of several Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen’s in Louisville. The is the second session I’ve done at one of these little restaurants. They are so cute…have huge windows in the front…and smell delicious! If you’re looking for a fun location to start your session, this is perfect!

Thanks to Mom and Dad for trusting me on this one. When we left, I asked to go over in front of a garage door in the parking lot. lol. I thought sure they were going to think I was crazy, but they just trusted me. I got my old pink chair out of my back seat and dragged it into the shade. I don’t know, but I think Sammy liked it

Another blogging marathon This was from a few weeks ago. I had a fun little girls weekend in Louisville. One of my best friends (and fellow photographers), Kelly, and I took her twin girls around Bardstown Road for a fun little session. These girls are just gorgeous! They turn heads where ever they go and got even more attention in these cute little petiskirts. I love my girls and can’t wait to see them again this weekend!!!

Oh…I have to take this moment to brag a little on Sugar and Spice in Lexington. I went in a few weeks ago because I had heard wonderful things. They have some of the coolest children’s clothes I’ve seen. I fell in love with the petiskirt shown below on the left. The owner, Stacy, is so friendly. You have to go check it out. Let Stacy know I sent you!

I’m showing two versions of the next image. I just couldn’t decide which one I liked best! Look at those eyes though!

Olivia felt so pretty. I was cracking up when she was dancing around…everyone walking by and staring…she said “I LOVE this!” Yeah…someone’s going to be a little star…

It is very late and I’m running out of steam, but I just wanted to post this real fast before I went to bed. Laurel is honestly one of the most beautiful pregnant ladies I’ve ever seen! Can you believe she was due 2 weeks from this session date!?! And I’m sure when I see her in just a couple weeks she will look just as great! Well, here are just a few for a sneak peek I love them! Oh…you should’ve seen us out in the overgrown grass with mud everywhere! We definitely gave the neighbors something to talk about that day! I know Laurel thought I was crazy, but I so think it was worth it!

Introducing gorgeous little Abigail! She was such an angel. Well, except for when I made her a little mad with my heater fan (the best $10 I’ve ever spent) I swear I don’t think I’ve ever heard a baby scream like that…I think she was saying “give me a break lady!” I just couldn’t quit snapping away though. Can you believe she was 9 lbs? Momma Lynette swore the Dr. had it wrong when they told her she was going to be 9 lbs. Turns out, they were right! I love it! Thank you Peavler’s for letting me into your life. I know it was a very tiring time, but you all were troopers. And it was all well worth it!!! The first 3…okay 4….are some of my absolute favorite newborn pics of mine…ever!

Mr. Parker | Priscilla Baierlein Photography {KY Newborn Photographer}

Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE newborns? With every newborn, I learn new little “tricks” to get them to sleep and to get those sweet little poses that an awake baby would never let me do! Newborn shoots always include a bean bag, a noise machine (set on waterfall), a $10 heater fan from Target, and plenty of blankets for backdrops…oh and lots of “sssssssshhhhhhhhhhh-ing”.

Thank goodness Parker is a patient baby. I just can’t stop taking pictures of a baby when they are in this cute little pose….

And this next prop is a scarf of Diana’s. It wrapped around little Parker perfectly, and even buttoned!

Diana saved material from Parker’s curtains for me I was so excited when she told me!
